Madd Muttasil

The connected madd (al madd al-muttasil — الْمَدُّ الْمُتَّصِلُ) occurs when hamzah comes after one of the madd letters in the same word.

It must be extended for 4-5 counts.

This madd is called connected since the prolongation letter and hamzah are in the same word.

Note:
