Izhar

Izhar

When you find a noon saakinah or a tanween followed by one of the 6 throat letters, you pronounce that noon ن or tanween clearly, with no nasalization. Al-Ithhar means «clarity» (i.e clarity of the 6 letters)

Al-Ithhar has 6 letters:

ء ه ع ح غ خ

This rule is called ithhar «al-halqi» — throat (الْإِظْهَارُ الْحَلْقِيُّ) since its 6 letters come from throat.
